Spring is a Cherry Blossoms Season

I miss the spring in Japan

Cherry Blossom Ball with Lights

Origami Evening Cherry Blossom Ball Lantern

Cherry blossom season has started in Japan.
I made an origami cherry blossom and put on some LED lights.
Love a little Japan on my table in Sydney.

Happy 1st anniversary, T Magazine!

Created an origami work for the magazine

Tmagazine

My response to the Talented Jordan Turner’s request for their magazine.
T Magazine turns 1. Congratulations, T Magazine!

Paper is a canvas to create, a page to write on. It is a medium to cut, fold and reinvent. Whatever the way you choose to tell the story you want to share, we can all connect with one thing. The act of holding that piece of paper in front of you and watching ideas come to life. That is the paper’s performance.

Endless possibilities

Many different Origami Boxes are available

Origami Box

Responded to the request for the origami box workshop.
I have been searching for the origami boxes which are something easy and quick but look impressive…
There are so many different origami boxes I can teach for the beginners.
I think these boxes in the image (Photographed by Midori) are very cool! (and surprisingly steady and strong.)

Refreshing my memory is also fun and makes me very excited!

Would you like to fold them with me?!

Rain on a koi pond

Raindrops on a koi pond

I like the rain.
I like watching the koi pond in the rain.
the rain falls on the pond and makes ripples.
The fish look like they are excited to feel the raindrops…

Each koi fish was folded with a square sheet of paper, no scissors.
