Making my own Paper

Small delicate work with a big achievement

Handmade Paper

I visited a Special Paper Shop, “Kami no Ondo” near Atsuta Shrine in Nagoya.

The huge shop has so many different types of papers on display.
It was amazing! So delightful!

Back in Sydney, I experimented with my pineapple pulp to make paper. The result was fantastic.
I love making paper and would love to experiment more.

(Below is a part of the shop, I think more than 20 times bigger.)

Exhibition in Japan

Group Exhibition in Japan has opened and it looks great!

Invite pont des Arts Japan

The Japanese professional painters’ group exhibition  “Pont des Arts Japan” at the Aichi Prefecture Art Gallery in Nagoya, Japan has opened.
It is horner to be a part of their 30th-anniversary exhibition.

Big thanks to the widely known artist & founder, Mr. Soshin Okumura, who invited me and helped me to frame my work in Japan.

Soshin Okumura shows his solo exhibitions regularly at Mitsukoshi, Takashimaya and more. He is my favourite artist and he still paints every day.
The exhibition looks great! Congratulations to all the fellow artists!
